Licensed Real Estate Professional
Patricia’s real estate career spans 28 years in Canada and the United States. Her outgoing personality, strong work ethic and passion for serving her clients has led to great achievements both personally and professionally.
Patricia studied political science at the University of Chile and has had continuing studies in Toronto over the years.
Patricia started her career in the greater Toronto area where she was a high achiever in real estate sales. Her listing signs dominated the neighbourhoods she represented where she was active in the community and known for caring for her clients and their families resulting in a strong referral business.
After moving to the United States, Patricia focused on international and domestic relocation of families moving to Iowa. She worked with large organizations such as Rockwell Collins, Aegon/Transamerica, Mercy Hospital, the city of Cedar Rapids, and the Cedar Rapids Police Department, to name a few.
In Iowa she started up a relocation division where she was able to secure exclusive relocation contracts with several corporations including Rockwell Collins, the largest employer in Cedar Rapids. She also initiated the ambassador program, a formal program to welcome new employees and their families from all over the world to the city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
As part of her relocation efforts, she worked with the Chamber of Commerce in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to effect change in the immigration process for non-US citizens relocating to Iowa. In fact, she was part of a contingent who visited Capitol Hill to successfully lobby for change. She spoke to senators and congressmen to recommend improvements to the system.
All of her efforts led to a high level of revenue being generated by the relocation business she led.
What she is most proud of, though, are the contributions she has made to the communities she has lived in over the years. She was recognized by local community leaders in both Canada and the United States. She was presented the key to the city by the Mayor of Cedar Rapids.
Her volunteer activities included working with the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Foundation, and the American Heart & Stroke Society.
