Start with a smile on your face, then…
Clean out old toys, sports equipment, and boxes which have collected over the years.
Declutter bookshelves, closets and visible storage spaces.
Minimize or eliminate all personal photos or kitchy keepsakes from plain view.
Repair any leaky faucets, broken light bulbs, windows and skylights and marble counters.
Buff woodfloors, replace worn carpet and repair badly scuffed walls and touch up trim.
Clean out closets and remove most of the clothes and shoes to give an appearance of space.
Consult with a stager, who can be recommended by your Realtor.
Ask your gardener to clean old leaves and debris from your yard, balconies and garden. Place flowers at front entrance.
Have your exterior and interior windows cleaned, as well as draperies and shutters, if needed.
